    Dear A-L Families,

My name is Tony Giannicchi and I have the privilege and honor of serving your communities as the new Superintendent of schools.  For me, this is a return home.  From 1995-2004 I was a Social Studies teacher and Boys Varsity Soccer coach at Allegany-Limestone.  I then went to Southwestern Central School District to serve as an Assistant High School Principal for three years.  For the past 11 years I have served in the roles of Middle and then High School Principal at Cattaraugus-Little Valley.  My foundation and beliefs were formulated in Allegany-Limestone but I have also been fortunate enough to gain experiences working at other school districts.   Many people have already asked me what changes I plan on making when I start.   My answer is always the same.  Talk to people first and see what is working and what is not working.  Allegany-Limestone is already a top tier district.  I like to believe that no one works for me, they work with me.  Thanks to Mr. Ward who I am fortunate to work with as I begin, the district is sailing in the right direction.   My role is to keep the district moving in a positive direction.  The goal is always to make Allegany-Limestone a financially sound district that is giving students the best education in the country.

    Sincerely,

    Mr. Tony Giannicchi

    ALCS Superintendent
