    Dear A-L Families,

I am grateful for the opportunity to be the Allegany-Limestone Superintendent.  I am settled into the community and have a vested interest in our school district both personally and professionally.  I feel the following building blocks are important for a successful school district:

    1.  Administrative leader practices and decisions

    2.  Curriculum development and support

    3.  Teacher practices and decisions

    4.  Student social and emotional health

    5.  Family and community engagement

    6.  Sound financial decision making for the present and future

As a district we place a strong emphasis on strong academic growth within an atmosphere of warmth and support.  It is our goal to provide the optimal learning conditions for student learning and engagement which are delivered in a manner that is high quality, comprehensive for the needs of our students, and embedded in our district's best practices.

    Sincerely,

    Mr. Tony Giannicchi

    ALCS Superintendent
